ELSTONS a UK based manufacturer have been a pioneer with innovative Welfare cabins. Their range of Towable Welfare Units has  lead the field, particularly in renewable power supply and ground lowering suspension.

These units are renowned for being robust, of good quality and finished to a high standard. The units come with optional ground-lowering suspension (P series) and easy clean fibreglass interior (F series.)

Within the product range is the “D” model. “D” relates to the HGI Merlin diesel generator that powers the “D” range.

ELSTONS wanted to produce an economic towable welfare unit that offered good long term rental return, with the bare minimum of maintenance cost. To compliment the low maintenance power system, ELSTONS chose a Harrington 6kVA diesel set designed jointly by ELSTONS and the HGI technical team.

Safe, reliable and with an independent fuel supply tank, the HGI Merlin based set is ideal. ELSTONS are showing the new generator arrangement in their “D” cabins at APSE in Aviemore, Scotland and then later at SED 2008, Corby, Northants.
