The Winter Months Are Not The Ideal Time For A Trip To “The Lakes” However HGI overcame the challenge.

January 2008 with frost on the ground, not most peoples ideal time for a trip to the Lakes! However when HGI was  instructed to install a generator at a historic building in Cumbria, frost was the least of our worries.  Airwave required a Standby Generator to back up the emergency services mast in a remote area of Cumbria. The main challenge was delivery and installation of the unit, given the difficult access to the site on a remote hillside. The challenge was overcome by the use of a Unimog vehicle, which made light work of the rough terrain. The result was the unit was delivered and installed within 24 hours and Airwave could be confident that the site had the required back up in an area which is noted for power failures. HGI cemented their reputation of delivering the right unit at the right time regardless of the challenges.
