In situations where the existing equipment cabin or building is full, HGI can supply the LPG standby generator in a self-contained external housing. This housing is available in two sizes; one has the capacity to allow the installation of a selection of radio gear, the other is purely for the generator and control panel.

The external units use the same Vanguard 570 LPG engine, HGI DC alternator and control panel as the internal generator so performance is unaffected.

The LPG store can be installed up to 15m away in areas where ground space is restriced. Both units are under 2.5m3 volume which means they can be installed under licence notification rather than full planning application..

The enclosure can also be fitted with any euro-style lock barrel for individual security requirements.
