Established in 1979, Harrington Generators have developed unparalleled experience in generator design, and invested heavily in research and development. Creating products which are robust, reliable and economically viable.

The Silent Knight range, Spitfire range, and the newest additions in the Welf-Air range are renowned as industry standards in performance and value for money. In addition, HGI's petrol sets, from the standard hire sets through to TIN12 and Rail certified models, provide award winning features, and are the benchmark against which all other generators are measured.

Since 1998 HGI have moved into the Telecom and Military markets, developing unique partnerships with amongst others, O2 and the British Armed Forces. Models such as the LFG, PPRF, Sakhalin and Ptarmigan have cemented HGI's reputation as a bespoke supplier, able to alter designs and meet exacting requirements, whilst working to extremely tight deadlines.

During 2006, HGI was aquired by FKI plc group, an engineering group of extensive generator power experience. HGI now have the financial backing of a multi-national plc while retaining their in-house ability to provide personal and tailored customer solutions.

Looking to the future, HGI are engaged in the design and production of Solar Panel, Wind Turbine, Fuel Cell and alternative technologies. from the simplest of small petrol sets to the complexity of military hardware, HGI relish the challenge of meeting the 21st Century generator needs.
